Week 1: Call's Thought
This blog is based in the article "Computers and language learning: an overview by

It's interesting if we think in how our grandparents realize the education of the furure, at least, for them, being in a pice of plastic with a lightly pice of more plastic would be a little bit silly to think it. But like the trees in the autumn, we only need a little wind to change everything around.
Education like most of
the fields in life are tied to humans appreciation, appreciation that is
changing all over itself quickly than humans values sometimes.
So, What's does it means?
It's means that education needs to ring at the same rythm that humans
development, education now ,more than in any other time, is facing a really
important and challenging revolution tool call... INTERNET.
This tool came to say
"Now you don't have any excuses to learn" that poses new questions
about how the school's education will respond against this kind of new century
statements.
The article Computers and language learning: an overview presents interesting points of view and evidence related of how, through a virtual method named "CALL", the prespective of the education of the future had changed in a way that it seems to be unstoppable.
The article also states
how the school education have face this new trend with the pass of the years,
to reinforce that, the article also in their lines, show us a little timeline
of how since the 60's the computers were tried to be putted into the
curriculum.
Obviously nowadays, this
is more reliable than in those old but lovely years.
Another point that got my
attention was, related on how important the tecnological sources are
for us and how important is can being captable of the future.
The article was really
rich in methodological sources, letting clear the importance that others
researchers had found in this kind of tools.
Also how like teachers we
can apply this tool in the curriculum through some of the application,
programs and, more important, Methodologies. In order to develop captable
students that can performe their capacities in the classroom.
To conclude, real world is facing different but important new revolutions, as professionals we need to be captable of what comes, Call for example is consider one of those ideas that can change the way that we see the education, apply them in our curriculum is a way to prepare our future for the future.
I agree with you Diego our world is facing new revolutions and as future educators we should start getting use to it! probably we will be the teachers who will use only technological techniques like CALL or ICT tools.
